Provincial funding for local healthy lifestyles programs

The provincial government is giving the Bay of Quinte Mohawks 52-thousand dollars to promote healthy lifestyles.

The money will support programs at the Tyendinaga Health Centre and the Mohawk Fitness Centre.

The province also set aside 25-thousand dollars for Tweed to promote swimming and health education programs, and 28-thousand for Bancroft and the Hastings-Prince Edward School Board to set up a new outdoor exercise program in the town.
