Frankford-area Man Flying on 4-0-1

Posted on Thursday, December 17th, 2009

A Frankford-area man has been charged under the provincial street racing legislation near Port Hope.

Northumberland O-P-P clocked a westbound vehicle on Highway 4-0-1 at 186 kilometres an hour late last night.

The officer conducted a roadside alcohol test, and charged 31-year-old Tommy Tsapoitis with driving with more than the legal amount of alcohol in his blood, speeding over 50 kilometres an hour and racing.
