Cobourg Mayor becomes new Northumberland County Warden

Cobourg Mayor Peter Delanty is Northumberland County’s new warden for 2010, although his duties begin immediately.

Delanty was acclaimed yesterday at a county council meeting..

Cramahe township Mayor Marc Coombs, who nominated Delanty, said he had a long and distinguished career..

He was a high school principal and is in his third term on Cobourg council.
