Brighton mayor pleased with emergency scenario
Brighton has just gone through a large winter storm and an H-1-N-1 outbreak with flying colours.
That was the scenario for the municipality at a Northumberland County table-top training session in Baltimore, northeast of Cobourg, yesterday.
Mayor Chris Herrington was pleased with how emergency services personnel and municipal officials were prepared, by working closely with the health unit, and she’s confident Brighton is in good hands.
Herrington says each community did an analysis of areas that need attention, and a County official will prepare a report for Northumberland Council.
