Prince Edward Committee of the Whole considers property tax extension
A man may get an extension on paying the outstanding taxes on his property in Demorestville.
Milorad Miskov has asked the Prince Edward County municipal staff to let him make partial payments against the tax arrears.
The Committee of the Whole will consider a report from the deputy-treasurer tomorrow recommending Miskov make payments of 400 dollars a month from December to next October, as well as pay all taxes levied on the land as they become due.
The homeowner is almost 26-hundred dollars in arrears of taxes, and a tax arrears certificate was registered at the Land Registry Office in January of this year.
