Nurse Practitioner Clinic Coming To Belleville
After two years of lobbying the province….Belleville is getting a Nurse Practioner led clinic. Tammy Armstrong has been one of the driving forces behind the proposal and says Health Minister Deb Matthews announced the clinic for Belleville this afternoon. Armstrong says they’re very excited to bring a new model of care to the city and additional healthcare services to 43-hundred patients who don’t have a primary healthcare provider. The location hasn’t been chosen yet.

I’ve seen nurse practitioners twice at Toronto General after being abandoned by St. Michael’s doctors; Dec. 4, 2002 he was very concerned and helpful; Jan. 30, 2003 a 2nd practitioner told to get out and stop bothering them at emergency (he believed everything I told him about paxil toxic effect but no one would believe me because of how popular paxil was)

Doctors or Nurse Practitioners; some are there out of concern for people health others are there for the pay cheque!
