Northumberland-Quinte West M-P defends printing costs
Northumberland-Quinte M-P Rick Norlock says his printing costs, the highest of any federal member, are justified.
Norlock spent almost 88-thousand dollars in 2008-09 sending information flyers to his constituents, and residents of other ridings.
He says he recognizes all of the money spent is public cash, but he believes the lines of communication have to be kept open when people are concerned.
Norlock, who wasn’t available several days ago when the printing costs came out, says he knows he would be criticized if he didn’t send information to people in his riding.
