Beautiful Canada Day in Quinte

The weather forecast couldn’t scare the brave residents of the Quinte region.  Big crowds out throughout the area for Canada Day celebrations yesterday, and the forecasters were a little off the mark, as it turned out to be a lovely afternoon and evening.  In Belleville at West Zwicks Park, attendance was easily higher then last year’s estimate of 14 thousand.  And, in Wellington, people thronged the main street of that super patriotic community, which featured over 17 hundred Canadian flags.
