New Media Pioneer Daniel Ouellette (Dano aka Sugarlips) is an award-winning artist who’s been honoured twice at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art for his work as a New Media producer. He’s also a recent Canadian New Media Awards winner and won numerous international digital media awards since 1995!

She was the winner of CHUM Radio’s Emerging Indie Artist Initiative and she’s now started a nationwide tour. The album is soulful with really beautiful lyrics and her voice – her voice is really unique. Did you know she was dubbed Vancouver Idol a while back when she placed in the Top 30 on Canadian Idol? Cool!

One of that era’s biggest stars, Richard’s #1 hits “Hold On To The Nights”, “Right Here Waiting”, “Hazard”, “Endless Summer Nights”, “Now and Forever” and “Should Have Known Better” were the soundtrack of an entire generation. Richard is performing his critically acclaimed acoustic concert with friend and fellow recording artist Matt Scannell of the band Vertical Horizon, whose hits include “Everything You Want”.

“We’ve paired sixteen brave local “celebrities” from the Quinte area and matched them with a dance teacher! They are polishing up their Salsa, Waltz, Swing, Merengue and more to wow the audience on May 14th! At the end of the show, audience members will get their chance to vote for a favourite and one pair will be crowned Dancing with the Stars of Quinte champions following in the footsteps of last year’s winners, Sue Rollins and Mark Philbin and 2008 champs, Andrea Doucette and Todd Smith!”
This is in support of Big Brothers and Sisters of Hastings & PEC!
This year, these two will blow everyone away with their smooth moves!
