Pepsi recently teamed up with Kendall Jenner to put together what they probably THOUGHT was going to be a really inspiring and awesome commercial…
and honestly, it had the potential to be! The broader message, the music and the visuals are pretty good, buuut… something felt a little off.
Maybe it’s because it was primarily made to sell pop.
Unfortunately (but also maybe a good idea) Pepsi pulled the ad off YouTube.

And here was Pepsi’s response (given to EW):
“This is a global ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony, and we think that’s an important message to convey.”
… fair, no doubt they had good intentions, but maybe stay away from social justice issues, and stick to heart warming and fun ads.
