The 82nd Academy Awards were full of glitz and glamour! Sandra Bullock picked up the Oscar for Best Actress and is my pick for best dressed.

International Women’s Day

Monday March 8th marks the 100th Year of the International Women’s Day!

All are welcome to participate in the march taking place in downtown Belleville beginning at 11am from the Organic Underground along Front St. The walk will end up at Bridge St. United Church where lunch will be served and followed by a short video and quest speaker.

Gold For Canada!!

It’s hard not to be swept up in the excitement of the Winter Games at home! It’s been a busy week and the competition continues with two of Canada’s best not only winning gold but going down in history as the youngest and the first Canadians to win a gold in Ice Dancing.

The very sweet (and cute) Jesse Labelle stopped the our studios earlier this morning. Opening for Emily Osment last month, Jesse is today on his way to Kingston to open for Tom Cochrane! From Toronto and getting HIS break after jamming on Speaker Corner, he’s honestly one of the nicest guys to sit down with and talk to… and I had the chance earlier today.
