Bieber’s Mothers Day Dedication

Justin Bieber is showing his love for his mom this year with a new song he wrote just for her.
The Biebs has always been full of praise for his mother Pattie Mallette, who became pregnant with her son when she was just 18 years old and raised him as a single parent. He’s since poured his emotions into “Turn To You”, from his upcoming album Believe, and is planning to donate all profits from the track to charity. Awwww

 

U2 Before They Were U2!

Photographer Patrick Brocklebank took black-and-white photos of the band at their gigs in 1978 and 1979, the earliest photos of U-2, now on display in Dublin. . Brocklebank says he liked other Dublin bands better, but U-2 stood out because they were organized. He says in the pub after a gig, Bono was such a personality everyone would hear Bono before they saw him. Among the photos is the first known photo of the band with their manager, Paul McGuinness. The photos are on display at The Little Museum of Dublin. Prints are for sale through the museum’s website. www.littlemuseum.ie

 

Prince Charles Scotland’s Latest Weatherman

Touring BBC Scotland’s headquarters in Glasgow with wife Camilla as part of their annual week of official engagements in Scotland, Charles (or Duke of Rothesay as he is known in Scotland) used the chance to make special mention of the weather at royal residences in the country. Happily for Scottish viewers, he had some good news for the far north, where there would be some “hazy sunshine.”

It will be interesting to see what the Prince and Duchess of Cornwall will get up to when they launch a three-province Canadian tour later this month.

Academy Award Winner Octavia Spencer (Best-Supporting Actress winner for The Help) is the inspiration for brides everywhere.

The dress Octavia Spencer wore while walking down the red carpet, brides will be able to wear while walking down the aisle. The guy who helped design the gown tells InStyle.com that he thought it was perfect for a wedding dress. The gown is expected to be available by the spring of next year.
