“Hard Candy” is Madonna’s eleventh studio album, hitting stores April 25th 2008. By May 7th, the album hit #1 around the world!!!
Before it’s release, in March 2008, Madonna was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. Having worked with her on the album, Justin Timberlake had the honour of introducing Madonna sharing with the audience the experience of such an opportunity. He said that while they were working together, he had come to the studio one day feeling ill, and Madonna had suggested a shot of vitamin B12. She didn’t call a doctor, he said. She took a Zip-Loc bag of B12 syringes from her designer bag, said, “Drop ’em,” gave him the shot, and added, “Nice, top shelf.” Mr. Timberlake said, “That was one of the greatest days of my life.”
Others making an appearance on “Hard Candy”, include not only Timberlake but Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West… together creating an album with an overall hip-hop/pop feel, while remaining a pop/dance record at heart

The second single, “Give It 2 Me” will be released in July.

Even with dark, grey clouds above it was an INCREDIBLE turnout for the 4th Annual Pull For Kids on Saturday!!!! Raising $27,000, 16 teams of 10-12 people came together to pull a fire truck, win prizes, have fun, and help the 1 in 5 children in this area who suffer from Asthma! Way to go!!!!

It’s been the talk all week around the water cooler, Tom Cruise returns to Oprah’s couch! All eyes are watching… or at least these ones will be. Today the talk show hosts speaks to the mega millions movie star from his home in Colorado and than Cruise returns Monday in a studio interview taped yesterday. I hope I set the VCR correctly… fingers are crossed.

We’re less than a month away from the Lung Associations 4th Annual Pull For Kids, where teams of 10 to 12 people actually pull a fire truck! This is my 3rd year participating and my 2nd as Honourary Chair and MC. It’s such a great event, I really hope you’ll join us. As TV Turnoff Challenge week continues you probably missed last nights episode of Dancing With The Stars. To recap the incredibly enthusiastic Steve Guttenberg was voted off. It was quite obvious Mr. Guttenberg wasn’t going to win the competition but his smile and positive attitude was a pleasure to watch.
